Branko Lazarevic

Branko Lazarevic is a franchise consultant with 30 years of experience in franchising at Swedish McDonalds. As a member of McDonald’s management team as Director of Operations & Franchising and before that Senior Franchising & Relations Manager, Branko has a unique experience of franchising in one of the most successful franchise chains in the world.

As a Franchise Consultant, Branko mainly works with assignments to establish new chains, improve and develop established chains, international expansion and capital raising.

Director of Operations & Franchising, McDonald’s

As Franchising Director, he has, among other things, been responsible for designing and implementing McDonald’s franchise principles and policies in the market, and for continuous follow-up of Franchise standards. As a sign of qualitative work and role model in Franchising, Swedish McDonald`s was named the franchise chain of the year 2013 by the Swedish Franchise.

In the role of Director of Operations, Branko has deep experience in creating systems and structures to constantly improve operations in the McDonald’s franchise chain and the guest experience in restaurants at both a strategic and tactical level.

An important aspect and philosophy of a franchise chain has been to ensure that franchisees are constantly involved in the company’s future plans and that one is open to views, as a good plan can only be carried out in the best possible way if those who carry it out on the floor Is 100% behind it.

Senior Franchising & Relations Manager, McDonald’s

In his role as Franchising & Relations Manager, he was responsible for creating and introducing Joint Venture Franchising in the market, sales of company-owned restaurants to franchisees, implementation of policies and more.
